Bird Surveys
Spalding Associates have over 20 years’ experience undertaking bird survey work throughout the UK. We have employed generic and single species bird survey techniques to inform development proposals and habitat management for nature conservation. We have also undertaken species monitoring on SPAs and nature reserves.
Spalding Associates are experienced with working in a wide variety of different habitats for a range of developments. This has included the study of feeding behaviour on tidal mudflats to inform riverside development proposals as well as Common Birds Census surveys of woodlands and moorland to inform habitat management plans. We also undertake assessments of bird populations on brownfield sites for both residential and commercial developments.
